When I first met Rob and Jasmine, they had hired me for their engagement shoot in Rochester. After learning that I shoot destination weddings (Jamaica wedding) and seeing how the engagement photos turned out, they asked me to join them for their wedding at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya! A wedding in Mexico, YES! On Cinco de Mayo, double YES! There is no way I could pass this opportunity up!
The Hard Rock Riviera Maya is a large but beautiful resort, with many activities and events for both families and couples. With two sides, one being family oriented and the other, adult-only, there is something for everyone. They even have a Woodward Skate Park on the premises, which of course I had to try! But most importantly, there were no lack of spots for us to take their wedding portraits.
I really had no idea what I was getting into when I agreed to hang out with their family and friends for five days. They brought so much energy to the resort, this party practically took it over. From mid-day pool parties to late nights at the club, these guys really knew how to throw down! To say the least, it was an amazing trip in which we all took away long lasting memories.
