Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Rochester, where my dad worked at Kodak and always had a camera in hand. That early curiosity became a passion and eventually a career. It has taken me from editorial work and live events to where I am now, photographing weddings for couples who want images that actually look and feel like their day.
When I’m not photographing a wedding, you may find me hiking in the Adirondacks on my way to becoming a 46er, catching a live show, cheering on the Bills, or at home with my wife Amy and our cats, Willow and Juniper.

The Studio
The studio is located at 190 Monroe Avenue in Rochester’s Lower Monroe neighborhood, just down the street from The Strong National Museum of Play. It’s a comfortable place to meet, talk through your wedding plans, and get to know each other before the big day. There are also plenty of local breweries and restaurants nearby if you’d like to make an evening of it.
A snapshot into my life
I’ve always loved exploring new places, and having a wife who’s a travel agent definitely helps. Whether it’s a national park or a city we’ve never visited, Amy and I are usually planning our next trip before the current one is over.
TravelING
Willow and Juniper pretty much run the house, and we’re fine with it. They’re curious, full of personality, and always need to know what we’re doing. We take them on trips with us whenever we can, and they love being part of the adventure.
Cats!
I love a good hike, whether it’s exploring a trail in a national park or spending a long day in the Adirondacks. I’m currently working my way through the 46 High Peaks, with the goal of becoming a 46er.
