I don’t typically shoot a lot of fashion, so this assignment was a fun one for me. We had two local models and featured clothing from two Rochester stores, Thread and Eye Candy Clothing. My first idea was to shoot at the Seneca Park Zoo with some of their animals. Unfortunately the weather turned, and our spring shoot wouldn’t look right with snow in the background, so we shot at my studio instead. I wanted to go for something a little different, so I decided to have the models lay down as I climbed up a ladder and shoot down on them. To keep with the spring theme, I “borrowed” a few large fake flowers from the Garden Factory. (thanks to Amy for the suggestion). Paige and Kristen were awesome to work with as we got many many keepers. It was very hard to narrow down my final picks, but here are a few of my favorites.
